There was a private unveiling of the Jazz Bakery's new building design at Frank Gehry's studios on September 17, 2013. Friends and family of the Jazz Bakery as well as members of the art and design community convened to marvel at the new models of our new building, and to listen to Frank Gehry talk about his vision for the new Jazz Bakery. The new building will feature two theaters: a 250 seat main theater for Jazz Bakery programming, plus a 60 seat black box theater for more eclectic programming and community events. Also speaking at the event were Artistic Director Ruth Price, Board Chairman Joseph Walker, musician Billy Childs, and Executive Director Jeff Gauthier. Click HERE to see more photos from the event.
