We are saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our dear friend Ralph Ehrenpreis. Ralph was a founding member of the Jazz Bakery Board of Directors and served in that capacity for over 20 years. He was one of the leading immigration lawyers in the United States, having practiced Immigration and Nationality law for 25 years, and he helped many musicians negotiate their immigration problems. He was active with the UCLA Jazz Studies program, and a was member of the UCLA Friends of Jazz. As one of our board members said, "Jazz had no better friend than Ralph Ehrenpreis."
