The perfect Sunday-Early-Evening show

For the closing concert of the Jazz Bakery’s first artist-residency Alan Broadbent has invited one of the finest guitarists on the scene today... LARRY KOONSE to join him and bassist Harvie S in a trio performance. Peter Erskine said “Larry Koonse is one of the most interesting guitarists I’ve ever played with or heard. His solos combine the intellectualness of a New York Times word game with the lyricism of Claude Debussy and the swing of Wes Montgomery. He’s a sublime musician.” The interplay between Alan and Larry is sure to be a dynamic wonder!

“Concerts and Conversations with Southern California Jazz Legends” funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
