FORQ: Henry Hey - Chris McQueen - Michael League - Jason "JT" Thomas

FORQ is an all-star quartet - with the spirit and cohesiveness of a garage band. However... picture the most mind-blowing-musically-proficient garage band imaginable ! ! ! FORQ emerged from Roy Hargrove's RH FACTOR and SNARKY PUPPY, who have established themselves as a contender in this year’s Grammy Awards jazz category and have recently sold out Royce Hall —all while remaining both the loosest and tightest music-machine I’ve heard in a long time.

The players in FORQ include SNARKY’s “top dog” Michael League, Chris McQueen, Henry Hey and RH FACTOR's Jason "JT” Thomas. They have released their first two albums. They are readily available on their bandcamp.com page. I am a raving fan of SNARKY PUPPY and can’t wait to hear this exciting quartet in person.

Sneak Peek… The Jazz Bakery will be presenting more musicians from the SNARKY collective. On March 21, Bill Laurance with Michael League and Robert "Sput" Searight; and later... Cory Henry Presents "The Revival" – on March 25.

Each of these musicians has volumes of fascinating material written about them. More than we have room for here. If you’re not already familiar with them, check it out. They deserve your attention.
