Beginning with Miles Davis at age 22, Joey DeFrancesco has played with just about everyone... Ray Charles, Arturo Sandoval, James Moody, Elvin Jones and Joe Lovano to name a few.
Joey is a three time Grammy Nominee and nine time winner of DownBeat Magazine’s Critic’s Poll, as well as winning DownBeat Reader’s Poll every year since 2005!
In 2014 he was inducted into the inaugural Hammond Organ Hall of Fame. DeFrancesco deserves to be called “Master of the Hammond B3 organ.” His legacy is already secured next to Fats Waller, Wild Bill Davis and Jimmy Smith.
