Lionel Loueke has developed the perfect framework for his sinuous, effervescent style with his long standing collages... Hungarian drummer Ferenc Nemeth and Swedish-Italian bassist Massimo Biolcati. Their music is full of tripwire rhythmic intricacies that register as causal, even natural. No other band has quite this sound. 

Although theirs is a dense and complex style, Loueke and his trio never want their audience to work at listening. Loueke says: “The challenge is to make it accessible. When I’m hearing somebody’s music, I don’t want to be counting. Music is not a mathematical exercise.”
