#1 in Downbeat Critics Poll / top three in JazzTimes poll / Jazz Violinist of the Year by the Jazz Journalist Association. Howes’ six-night run at Lincoln Center received glowing recognition in both the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
Christian is currently in high demand on the New York scene, sought out by Greg Osby, Dafnis Prieto, etc. (Early in his career he was a favorite of Bill Evans and Les Paul.) When origanally released, American Spirit, garnered raves from the Huffington Post. What an exciting opportunity to hear it live.
