Luis Muñoz, Costa Rican composer, producer, arranger and percussionist has received multiple accolades and awards from the world media... “VOZ”, (Claudia Acuña –Chile, Magos Herrera –México and Téka –Brazil) was chosen by both Downbeat and Jazziz Magazine as one of the “Best Albums of the Year” / Latin Jazz Network called it “A perfect Album” / and NPR’s AltLatino elected Luis among the “12 Best Artists of the Year”.
Lois Mahalia, British Guyana born singer, is featured with the Muñoz sextet. She moved to the US at age 13 and continued singing with her musical family. She has performed, recorded, and toured with Kenny Loggins, Joe Sample, Michael McDonald, Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers.
